About

Dan Fox is an actor, writer and comedian based in Brooklyn, NY.

For the past decade, he spent much of his time performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. His show, An Evening With The Trumpet Boys, enjoyed an 8 month run at the theatre and was called a “hilarious night of sketch comedy” by The New York Times. He also performed as an actor on Maude Night, the UCB’s premiere sketch comedy night. Head on over to the video page to check out some of that comedy in action.

Dan’s latest work has been greatly influenced by his alarm over widespread phone addiction and how it affects...well, everybody. He wrote a children’s book called Hey Zoey! Get Off Your Phone! and raised $9k on Kickstarter to make it a reality. He wrote, produced, directed and acted in a commercial parody series for The Light Phone called Introducing The Smartphone™, which has hundreds of thousands of views across multiple platforms. He also recorded an album partially about phone addiction with his band The Various Artists and released a music video for his song The Ballad Of Crane Neck Jones.

Dan has interviewed many famous celebrities for Yahoo! Movies and once performed a Stupid Human Trick on the Late Show With David Letterman. People love to talk to him about that.
